Notes of meeting 11th June 15
At Junes monthly meeting 23 members were present
This was the first of our multi demos, this time on tool sharpening. This took the form of members bringing in various machines to demonstrate how these individual machines were able to make and replicate profiles on tools.
There present was the Tormac water cooled sharpener, the clubs new Sorby Pro Edge an 8 inch white wheel grinder using the Tormac type jigs and another fast weel grinder using a stand off type profiler.
Members were able to judge the best system to suite their needs and the evening was deemed very informative and well received.
