Some of our Competition entries..
Novembers Winner Bruce
Notes of meeting 12 November 15
This month there were 24 members present.
This month’s demonstration by Bert Alexius was the manufacture of Water Lily boxes. An excellent demonstration showing something quite different and very effective, the basic lily frame is suitable for a range of boxes, candle holders etc and an interesting addition to the range of boxes demonstrated at previous club meetings.
This Month’s Competition
This month’s competition, to complete the wet turned bowl we entered for the March competition. The worthy winner was Bruce Wright, second Gerald Gardiner and third John Blake.
The next competition will be a turned Christmas decoration.
The next demonstration meeting will be the 10th December and as it will be the only meeting of the month it will be “a casual hands on” get together.
When items of club equipment and tools are on loan, please ensure they are brought to the various meetings particularly for the hands on evenings so that members can receive tuition with adequate equipment available.
